Do I need a VPN?

No. MEDIACAST is made for watching from abroad, so you do not change your IP to use the service.

Sign-up and playback from Russia and Belarus are blocked. A VPN may still help only if your local network blocks streaming in general — that is an ISP limit, not a MEDIACAST requirement.

Which devices work

Officially supported: Web browser, iPhone / iPad, Android, Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku.

For a living room the usual options are Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV or Android TV. There is no native Samsung Tizen or LG webOS app yet — connect one of the supported streaming devices to the TV.

How to start

Create an account, pick a plan, then install an official app or watch in a browser. On a TV, the app shows an activation code after install; enter it on the connect page.
